Hey, "Station 19" fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed episode 10 tonight, especially since it will,in fact, be the very last episode of Station 19 that you 'll ever see forever. That's right, guys. We ,unfortunately, have to tell you that ABC isn't bringing back Station 19 for a new season 8. It all ends here with season 7. According to the folks over at Deadline.com , ABC decided to cancel this series way back on December 8, 2023. At that time, Craig Erwich who is the president of Disney Television Group had some nice words to say for the show stating, "For seven seasons Station 19 has been a highlight of the ABC lineup thanks to Shonda and Betsy’s incredible vision, beloved characters and compelling storytelling. With Zoanne and Peter at the helm of the upcoming farewell season, we have so much to look forward to, most notably the celebration of...

It's time to say goodbye to Station 19, and I am not ready.
Station 19 Season 7 Episode 9 was the first half of a two-part series finale, and this episode was heartbreaking in all the worst ways.
Vic's big Crisis One announcement left some members of the department reeling, especially Travis, and Maya and Carina faced an excruciating wait to find out if their IVF cycle was successful.
Finding out that Vic would be leaving Seattle to run Crisis One in D.C. wasn't a shock, but the thought of Nineteen without her is hard.
Hey, Shondaland, what are the odds we could get a Crisis One spinoff based in Washington, D.C., starring Barrett Doss?
Ideally, Travis would go with Vic, and then we wouldn't have to say goodbye to our favorite set of besties in the world.
But daydreams about possible spinoffs aside, this show is a hard one to think...

[This story contains major spoilers from Bridgerton season three, Part 1.]
Bridgerton‘s third season has hit the Ton, and the final moments of the Part 1 release will have fans of the book and show alike on the edge of their seats, awaiting what comes next in Part 2.
Four episodes (and two seasons) of romantic buildup on the Netflix period drama between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) culminates in the famous carriage scene from Julia Quinn’s novel Romancing Mr. Bridgerton (of which this season is based), where the two engage in a steamy makeout scene and make it to second base.
Before they know it, the carriage arrives at the Bridgerton family house, and they need a moment to figure out what to do. Colin steps out of the carriage and extends his hand toward Penelope. “Are you coming with me?” he asks. “What? Your family will see me,” she responds. “For God’s sake, Penelope Featherington.

Dearest readers: It’s Bridgerton Week at IndieWire. We’re celebrating the new season by diving deep on one of the best romance shows on TV.
Ahead of the “Bridgerton” Season 3 world premiere, the atmosphere was not unlike that of the megahit Netflix show.
The ton (New York City) was abuzz, its inhabitants eager to impress (dressed to the nines!). Heads turned and whispers rippled through Alice Tully Hall for every actor’s arrival, the same way characters bristle and murmur for their costumed counterparts.
Because “Bridgerton,” as Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria said in her opening remarks, is so much more than a show. It’s a lifestyle brand, marked by the Bath & Body Works soaps and lotions adorning every bathroom; an aesthetic, shared among the evening’s Regency-inspired formalwear; and a fandom, underscored by every collective gasp, giggle, and cheer shared in the theater during Episode...

Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, Private Practice. Is there a showrunner with a higher number of long-running successful shows than Shonda Rhimes? Hardly so. That's why her 2017 deal with Netflix came as such a shock, after spending more than a decade under ABC's wing.
As fans know, Shonda's Netflix project, Bridgerton, is based on a series of pseudo-historical romance novels by Julia Quinn that tell the story of early 19th-century British high society. There are a total of eight books about the Bridgerton family, the first of which was published in 2000.
All feature the romantic liaisons of Lady Bridgerton's children, and there are (surprise!) eight of them: Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and Hyacinth. Shonda Rhimes would not be Shonda Rhimes if she did not create interest in all aspects of her brainchild – now, with the long-awaited third season of Colin and Penelope just a few days away,...

Dearest readers: It’s Bridgerton Week at IndieWire. We’re celebrating the new season by diving deep on one of the best romance shows on TV.
Asked to sum up the new season of “Bridgerton” in one word, showrunner Jess Brownell landed on “cozy.”
“I think the feeling of this season is you’re drinking a hot cup of tea under a blanket and having a laugh,” she told IndieWire during a recent interview. “There’s that familiarity between the characters that just feels easy and cozy.”
Season 3 of Netflix’s smash hit focuses on the love story between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). Unlike previous installments in which a new person enters the ton and shakes things up, fans are already familiar with the duo and have been particularly excited to watch Lady Whistledown’s main character moment finally unfold.

Chicago Fire aired a new episode that featured Kelly Severide, but Chief Boden was absent again.
Much of the latest episode featured Severide (Taylor Kinney) trying to stop a trio of domestic terrorists.
Truck 81 was stolen from Firehouse 51 in the middle of the night, and Severide was along for the ride. It turned out that the trio of gunmen who stole it were planning to turn it into a bomb.
When Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) woke up later that evening, she discovered that Severide and Truck 81 were missing, leading to an intense investigation.
Chief Boden and Severide were gone, leaving Kidd to take the lead at the firehouse as Chicago P.D. was called in to help.
Severide stopped the terrorists, and the team came to his rescue as the episode ended, but Boden was still Mia.

Unique formatting, an enjoyable character, and some focus on Vic made for an emotional hour.
The long overdue breakdown and breakthrough for Vic occurred on Station 19 Season 7 Episode 6, and we also got to fill in some of the cracks between seasons via flashbacks.
Also, Vic has to keep her job, and Crisis One will live to see multiple days.
Station 19 Fans and Fanatics, Ellie Mv, Heather M, Haley Whitmire White, and Sara Trimble convened to discuss the episode's best, worst, and most confusing moments.
Join the discussion below.
What's your opinion on the flashback formatting used for this episode? Did you need clarification on the timeline?
Ellie: My opinion on the flashbacks is that they were poorly used.
Following the episode's timeline was confusing and hard, so I was completely lost. And if they were supposed to be flashbacks, why have they not done some details like Maya's hair just like they did with Vic?...

Bridgerton Season 3 is bringing Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin’s (Luke Newton) love story to life from Julia Quinn’s Romancing Mister Bridgerton. However, a key character from Polin’s book is not featured in the Netflix show at all: Felicity Featherington. Another Featherington sister?! Yes, there’s another one in the book series! Felicity is closest to Penelope within the Featherington family and the youngest sibling. She’s also a dear friend to Hyacinth Bridgerton. In the Netflix series, Penelope only has two siblings, Prudence (Bessie Carter) and Philippa (Harriet Cains). Showrunner Jess Brownell explains Felicity’s absence in the show to TV Insider. “I think [that] was a smart decision. I think that was a decision made by Chris Van Dusen and Shonda [Rhimes] early on in the pilot,” Brownell says. “It just gets hard to characterize three siblings, especially when the Featheringtons are in a secondary position. The main...

Shonda Rhimes argues that 'Barbie' "didn't need to be" a "feminist manifesto".The 'Bridgerton' producer admits that she enjoyed last year's blockbuster featuring Margot Robbie as the iconic toy doll but was disgruntled with the cultural discourse that put unnecessary expectations on the flick.Speaking to Variety, Shonda explained: "Ok, here's what I'll say. If you're expecting a 'Barbie' movie, then I thought it was great."But I think a lot of people were expecting so much more, and then tried to make it so much more. "There was nothing wrong with the movie; I thought it was totally delightful. But the weight people put on a movie about Barbie was very interesting to me."I've heard the song 'I'm Just Ken' in my house every single day because one of my kids sings it all the time. Spoiler Alert! This post contains details from Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
Paging Dr. Arizona Robbins!
Jessica Capshaw made her return to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital on Thursday night’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy. Naturally, the case involved fetal medicine, which she’s still been pursuing and advancing since she moved to New York with her daughter Sofia to be closer to her ex Callie.
In this episode, Arizona is called back to Seattle to perform groundbreaking surgery on a fetus with a brain abnormality that would likely result in the baby’s death upon birth.
She teams up with Grey Sloan’s chief neurosurgeon Dr. Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) to essentially perform a miracle and, in the process, inject some faith back into the rest of the staff at the hospital after a series of trying cases. And, of course, she challenges a bit of authority along the way,...

Another week, another traumatic episode of a Shonda Rhimes show that centers around a vulnerable group.
On Station 19 Season 7 Episode 3, the firehouse fam attends a Pride parade to celebrate Seattle's LGBTQ+ community. For a full recap and review, check out TV Fanatic Jasmine Blu's expert take on True Colors!
During the Pride parade, a car backfires, the sound is mistaken for a gunshot, and chaos erupts. As painful as it is, this is an entirely predictable series of events because Shondaland loves to give marginalized communities a tragedy to rally around.
Don't get us wrong. We love this universe. Everything Shonda Rhimes touches turns to gold.
But we'd be remiss if we ignored the fact that sometimes it's hard to stomach some of the painful storylines vulnerable communities have to endure in the worlds she builds.
Looking back on the history of Shonda's television empire, it's clear that this isn't a new phenomenon.

There isn't much to work with here, so we'll just have a good time chatting about Chicago Fire Season 12 Episode 4.
Why else would the hour be titled "The Little Things" if it wasn't going to go the day-in-a-life route?
With a close-knit firehouse and multiple calls, even the little things can add up to a lot.
What do you do if you aren't invited to a friend's wedding? Well, make that two friends. That's even harder to digest.
If you're Joe Cruz, instead of addressing the situation directly, you devise silly reasons why you may not have been invited.
Sure, Brett has told everyone that she and Casey are keeping it small and personal, but Joe would fit that bill.
He'd be higher on the list than Capp or Tony, even if Tony did help her with the very cool fire effect she used on the invitations.

Before she was seen online dancing with knives, Britney Spears was on a bigger screen. Now, her first film role, Crossroads, is finally coming to Netflix.

Crossroads features Spears as “Lucy,” a character who reunites with her childhood best friends Kit (Zoë Saldana) and Mimi (Taryn Manning). A cross-country road trip ensues with Mimi’s friend Ben (Anson Mount).

Grey’s Anatomy was once one of television’s hottest shows, attracting a dedicated and loyal fanbase. NCIS star Michael Weatherly considered himself a part of Anatomy’s large audience. But Weatherly was soon turned off by the show, feeling that the series fumbled its story with one major character.

As much as Weatherly might’ve enjoyed Grey’s Anatomy, the show perhaps made him appreciate NCIS more than he already did. NCIS had a reliable formula that kept viewers tuning into the show.
